As a Flying Blue Platinum member, you qualify for award tickets that are exclusively reserved for Elite members.
Elite Award
The Elite Award is available on certain flights, for 115% of the Miles usually required for a Classic Award in the same cabin class.
Flex Award
In Business Class and First Class, Flex Awards are only available to Elite members like you. This means even if there is no award seat available, by simply doubling the Miles required, you will get the seat you want on the flight you want.

Both AIR FRANCE and KLM offer you the chance to enjoy extra space on intercontinental and European flights when you fly Economy Class. With Seat Plus from AIR FRANCE and seats in the Economy Comfort zone on KLM flights, you can make your journey more relaxing by reserving a seat that offers extra comfort. We will make every effort to accommodate your seating preference, but please bear in mind that services are based on availability.

Reserve a Seat Plus
Would you like more legroom in the Voyageur cabin? When checking in online for an intercontinental flight operated by Air France, reserve a Seat Plus, a seat offering extra space.
A limited number of these seats are available: reserve your Seat Plus as soon as online check-in is available for your flight.
Depending on the aircraft, these seats are located:
- on the upper deck of the Boeing 747-400,
- next to the emergency exit doors of the Boeing 773 and 772, Airbus A330 and A380.
This service is available during online check-in and at Air France counters at Paris-Charles de Gaulle terminal 2 and Bordeaux airport on the day of departure. It is free for Flying Blue Platinum members who identify themselves with their Flying Blue card number when buying their ticket.
Please be aware that these seats are limited in number so remember to reserve your Seat Plus as soon as online check-in opens.
Choose more comfort on KLM flights:
Choose a seat in the Economy Comfort zone on intercontinental flights to enjoy extra legroom (up to 10 cm/3.9 inches) and double the seat recline . What’s more, you can disembark more quickly after landing because the Economy Comfort zone is located at the front of the aircraft. Flying Blue Platinum members can benefit from a seat in the Economy Comfort zone at no extra cost.
Or reserve a seat with extra legroom (at least 127 cm/50 inches, depending on the type of aircraft) or a seat in a row of two at no extra charge. This service is available on intercontinental flights only.

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our dedicated team is on hand to take care of your flight reservation. Your exclusive reservation service phone number is printed on the back of your Flying Blue Elite Platinum card. Please note this service is not for award ticket bookings.
Access to lounges
Take time to relax at the airport! Throughout the world, you and your guest have a free access to any of our airport lounges*. From now on, you can also invite extra guests to join you in the lounges on certain international stopovers**.
