Westward is located on the north shores of Lake Union, not far from the former Gas Works industrial site, which has since become a vast park. In an idyllic setting, lulled by the water lapping nearby or enshrouded with the soft light of the garlands that adorn the terrace, come and enjoy typical Pacific Northwest cuisine: octopus salad and oysters in aioli are found on a menu where fusion brings a creative touch to local products, and always in good taste. While seafood products, which change according to the day's catch, make up the majority of the dishes, a superb roasted lamb shoulder will delight the most carnivorous.
Westward occasionally organises introductory workshops on oyster preparation. Sports enthusiasts can get to the restaurant by kayak, stand-up paddle or small boat!
