El Tapas de Flanigan all about relaxation

From its open kitchen, this tavern delivers all the classic tapas recipes.

Famous interior designer, Lázaro Rosa-Violán, a neoclassical Catalan design guru - the same architect who decorated the Tast Club in Palma - redid El Tapas Flanigan in 2014. The tavern's pretty terrace overflows onto the touristy Passeig Mallorca. The open kitchen in the centre of the restaurant, the huge bar where you can set down your plate, the bistro tables and aged wooden benches – as well as the blue and white tiles with pink compass rose motif, lend the place a sailor's tavern feel. Traditional tapas, Spain's culinary essences, are served for the visitors' greatest pleasure - dishes based on fried fish, grilled pepper, squid cakes, ham and cheese, cold meat, tortillas, rice, beans ... and clams. For dessert, the panna cotta with fruit pulp wins all. You will also notice a solid wine list - by the glass or bottle - which starts at a low price with a Rioja and culminates with a white Ribas.
